Very rarely, both "TEAR HERE" tabs will fail to peel across the lid and open the seal. If this happens, take a pair of pliers (we do not recommend you use bare hands) and pull the strip in a U shape around the three sides of the bucket. The lid will open once the strip is removed.

We are working on this rare issue so that it won't happen at all in the future.
